In Otago, Business South is the new entity which combines the skills and experience of the Chamber of Commerce, and the Employers' Association.

The whole of New Zealand is on Covid 19 alert level 4 lockdown until midnight this Friday, with longer for Auckland.

There are still no cases of Covid 19 in the South Island, prompting some to question why people and businesses away from the outbreak zone are also locked down.
